Cold air to grip N China as continuous rain hits south regions of Huai River

From today to tomorrow, the stronger cold air will continue to hit North China and the Yellow-Huaihe Valley. the temperature of central and eastern Inner Mongolia, central and southern Northeast China, North China, most parts of Yellow-Huaihe Valley will drop by 6 to 10 degree Celsius. Meanwhile, eastern Henan, southern Hebei, western Shandong and eastern Liaoning will get 12 to 14 degree Celsius dropping with 4 to 5 northerly winds. There will be 7 to 9 scale of northerly winds in the Bohai Sea, central and northern the Yellow Sea. The dust or dust blowing will affect South Xinjiang Basin and western Gansu.

It's forecasted that from this morning to forenoon, the light fog will shroud most parts of the Yellow-Huaihe Valley, the Yangtze-Huaihe Valley, the Yangtze-Hanshui Valley, Sichuan Basin, central and eastern Guizhou, Chongqing, western and southern South of the Yangtze River, most parts of South China. Meanwhile, southern Shandong, southeastern Henan, northern Jiangsu and Anhui, southern Fujian and Zhejiang, northeastern Guangdong will get the fog with the visibility less than 1000 meters. In some areas, the visibility is less than 500 meters.

In the next three days, the continuous rain will hit south parts of Huaihe Valley. South of the Yangtze River and northern South China will get moderate rain while heavy rain hits northern Guangxi, eastern Jiangxi, northwestern Fujian and western Zhejiang with thunderstorm weather.Mar.18
